I host the Internet of Things meetup group in Milton Keynes UK
https://www.iotmk.co.uk/
and run Factoree, an IoT consultancy company
http://factoree.co.uk/
We’ve all heard projections about 50 billion IoT devices. For that to happen, I’m convinced
- they will have pretty minimal processors, for reasons of cost and power consumption
- they will self-tune their behaviour, because few end users like to program or configure
That suggests to me that TinyML will play a big part in IoT. I’m only in the process of learning this topic myself, but I expect to have projects applying it soon. It would be great to hear from people around Milton Keynes with TinyML interests.
