I host the Internet of Things meetup group in Milton Keynes UK

We’ve all heard projections about 50 billion IoT devices. For that to happen, I’m convinced

  • they will have pretty minimal processors, for reasons of cost and power consumption
  • they will self-tune their behaviour, because few end users like to program or configure

That suggests to me that TinyML will play a big part in IoT. I’m only in the process of learning this topic myself, but I expect to have projects applying it soon. It would be great to hear from people around Milton Keynes with TinyML interests.

If one projects the growth for LoRaWAN devices, the projection is 250 billion by 2025.
